Who is Yahweh
Yahweh (YHWH) is the personal, covenant name of the one true God revealed in Scripture.
When God spoke to Moses from the burning bush, He declared: “I AM WHO I AM” — a name that speaks of eternal existence, unmatched power, and divine intimacy. Yahweh is not distant or abstract. He is the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who formed humanity in His image, and the God who desires a relationship with you.
This name, YHWH, is powerful. It reveals a God who is eternal, self-existent, uncreated, and sovereign — yet deeply personal. He is not just the God of history. He is the God of right now.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” — John 1:1 & 14
The Word
Made Flesh
Yahweh did not remain distant. He stepped into creation.
Through Jesus Christ — Yeshua, meaning “Yahweh saves” — God took on human form. Fully God and fully man, Jesus made Yahweh visible, knowable, and present among us.
He walked among the broken, healed the sick, and taught with divine authority. His life was a living expression of Yahweh’s love — calling us to repentance, faith, and a deeper understanding of the Kingdom of God.
Jesus didn’t just speak truth. He embodied it.
He showed us that Yahweh is not just a name — He is a person who reaches, restores, and redeems.
The Sacrifice That Changed Everything
Though innocent, Jesus willingly went to the cross — the ultimate act of love and obedience.
He bore the weight of humanity’s sin, offering Himself as the perfect sacrifice. In that moment, Yahweh’s justice and mercy collided. Through the cross, Jesus made a way for us to be reconciled with God.
But the story didn’t end there.
Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin and death once and for all. His resurrection is the cornerstone of our hope — the proof that Yahweh’s promises are true and eternal.
Through Jesus, we are offered forgiveness, new life, and restored relationship with the God who made us.
The Invitation
Is Personal
Yahweh’s story is not just ancient history — it’s an invitation.
An invitation to believe, to belong, and to be transformed. Through Jesus, Yahweh reaches out to each of us with grace, truth, and love.
He doesn’t force Himself into our lives. He offers Himself — fully, freely, and faithfully.
Whether you’re a lifelong believer or just beginning to ask questions, Yahweh is calling.
